What are the Benefits of HIIT Workouts Compared to Regular

In this episode of Women's Footy Podcast Jacob presented the 40-Fit program, which is a comprehensive training program that includes a variety of workouts such as swimming, speed, agility, and endurance sessions. The program is designed to improve aerobic fitness and overall performance, and it provides the benefits of HIIT training.

Jacob emphasized the importance of monitoring workload and stress levels to prevent injury or illness, and he suggested using a five-part questionnaire, an RPE scale, and measuring resting heart rate to track progress and avoid overloading the body. He also noted that while HIIT sessions can be helpful, they may not be necessary if following a comprehensive training program.

Jacob discussed the benefits of swimming for both cardiovascular and muscular health, and he described how the pressure of the water on the body during swimming can improve the process of oxygen and carbon dioxide diffusion through the blood capillary wall, making it more efficient. He also emphasized the importance of breathing every three strokes and learning to breathe bilaterally to maintain symmetry in the body and improve overall swimming performance. Overall, the 40-Fit program provides a comprehensive approach to fitness that can benefit individuals looking to improve their aerobic fitness and overall performance.
